A nurse practitioner (NP) is an advanced practice registered nurse classified as a mid-level practitioner. Nurse practitioners are trained to assess our patient's condition and needs, order and interpret diagnostic and laboratory tests, diagnose illness and disease, formulate treatment plans, and prescribe medication.
Our staff understands the complex nature of wound treatment and healing. Our wound care program is a multidisciplinary approach in which we treat wounds, as well as, the underlying cause of the wounds. We employ only the best certified wound care specialists and we are committed to our patient's healing and comfort while in our care.
All of our infusion nurses are PICC and IV Certified. Infusion therapy is when medication or fluids are administered through a needle or catheter. Other conditions treated with infusion therapy may include cancers, congestive heart failure, Crohn's Disease, hemophilia, immune deficiencies, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, and more.
Our certified Phlebotomists are trained to draw blood for clinical or medical testing, transfusions, donations, or research. Primarily, this is done by performing venipunctures or for collection of smaller quantities of blood, finger sticks. For your convenience, you can come to us or we can come to you!

Upon admission into this particular Care Program, our nurses & staff will collaborate with our client, their family, and their primary physician to complete an individualized Quality of Life Care Plan. The plan details which behavioral therapy and personal services are necessary to support you in regaining and maintaining the best possible quality of life.
The Medical Oncology Program provides care for patients with more acute medical needs, such as, pneumonia, chronic respiratory problems, asthma, diabetes, heart disease, and cancer care of the elderly. This includes those needing inpatient chemotherapy and radiation therapy. The nurses providing care for these patients received extra training to meet the special needs of these clients.
